Hideout Records is an independent Vienna-based jazz label founded by bassists Clemens Rofner, Daniel Ziemann, and Anna Reisigl. With their diverse musical backgrounds, they represent the variety of the Viennese jazz scene internationally, supporting both emerging and established artists through every step from recording to distribution. Committed to artistic and structural sustainability, Hideout Records serves as a platform for high-quality, collaborative, and forward-thinking jazz that fosters diversity and helps shape the genre’s future.
With Carte Blanche, Hideout Records opens up a space for artistic encounters and musical diversity. At its core: two or more young artists who have never worked together before create an exclusive album that blends their influences and styles—unique, unrepeatable, contemporary.

Hideout Records celebrates together with Sissy Sound Record Store the power of analog music culture: On April 18, 2026 Elena Schäfer will play the release concert of her debut album Where I Go at the Record Store.

Two strangers, two voices: Avin Ahmadi on the oud and Lorenz Widauer on the trumpet. Their paths had not crossed until Hideout Records brought them together to collaborate on the first Carte Blanche.Until We Meet Again is rooted in jazz and Persian influences and carries the intimacy of chamber music, while daring to grow from fragments and sounds. Avin Ahmadi and Lorenz Widauer let their music unfold with honesty and courage, creating stories that open up new spaces. They are supported by Valentin Duit (DRUMS), Kristian Lind (DOUBLE BASS), Albin Ormegard (GUITAR), and Mona Matbou Riahi (CLARINET).The album cover was created in collaboration with the Rotlicht Festival: analog film photography by festival director Dino Rekanović – designed by Juri Velt.
